The ROCCAT Kone XTD is the high-end of the Kone models refreshed recently ostensibly to update to a new 8200dpi Pro-Aim R3 laser sensor. Today we have our hands on the slightly (but only slightly) more modest Kone Pure, which skims a little from the XTD to give us a sleeker, more focussed mouse. Gone are the weight customisation options, tilt-wheel and four-location independent lighting; however the core of a quality laser sensor and Omron switches remain in a smaller, sleeker package."
