Value is the big question. The overall price of the drive is not bad all by itself, but the performance for the price is a little bit lacking - at the MSRP. When you consider the software bundle, it makes it a tough call. Not everyone will need or even use the software, so for many people this value isn`t recognized. If you need software though, this becomes a great deal. With the price of the software listing around $40 - and with the drive hitting shelves for $80-$90 on a promotional price, you actually are paying $40-$50 for the drive itself. . ."
