We reviewed the Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3-2400 CL10 kit and the Kingston HyperX Beast DDR3-2400 CL11 8 GB kit and 16 GB quad-kit. For the average PC user DDR3-2400 kits actually don't have any added value, and they are better off with a larger amount of RAM instead of faster modules. For the price of the Corsair Vengeance 8 GB DDR3-2400 kit you can also buy 16 GB of slower memory that is more than sufficiently fast for normal PC users. However, there are those that enjoy getting the highest benchmark scores with their computer (and then bragging about them on HWBot), and for them DDR3-2400 memory is fun to have.
