Back in March we reported on a USB 3.0 problem with the new 8 series chipset used on motherboards for desktop Haswell processors, and it turns out that this is indeed the case. We can confirm this after 14 out of 22 USB 3.0 drives we tested failed to stay connected when a Haswell system woke up from standby.
