Multiple monitors increase productivity, however with more desktop space dual
comes the downside of having to constantly mouse back and forth to the primary
monitor which has the Windows Task Bar, Start Button and access to Programs.
To solve this little annoyance we recently tried a third-party software
program that adds an independent Task Bar to the bottom of every screen. The
program is called "Acutal Multiple Monitors" from Acutaltools.com.
Download and install the trial program, after this you may need to restart
the PC. What AMM does is assign an independent Task Bar to each screen in your
multi-monitor set up, with each independently capable of taking a Quick Launch
bar, or Pinning frequently used programs to it. Try it out, your Windows 7
productivity may just will go up a notch. Be nice, 'Like
