ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) launches Strix H270I Gaming and B250I Gaming motherboards in an mini-ITX format that combine contemporary aesthetics, fast stable performance, and superb features to deliver an exemplary gaming experience at a budget friendly price.

The ROG Strix H270I Gaming is based on the Intel® H270 chipset while the ROG Strix B250I Gaming is based on the Intel B250 chipset. Both motherboards support the latest 7th Generation Intel Core™ processors and technologies. With their innovative dual-stack heatsink design, ASUS Aura Sync RGB lighting, SupremeFX audio technology, ultra-reliable Intel Gigabit LAN, dual onboard M.2 slots, 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi and exclusive ROG innovations, the ROG Strix H270I Gaming and B250I Gaming offer powerful performance in a compact size to give gamers the edge against opponents.

ROG Strix H270I Gaming and B250I Gaming feature a unique dual-stack heatsink design that allows the M.2 SSD to be stacked atop of the PCH heatsink, maximizing board space and improving heat dissipation for better stability and storage performance. ASUS Aura Sync RGB LED lighting technology offers a host of personalization options. Featuring a 5050 RGB header and onboard RGB lighting zones that let gamers create incredible lighting effects and synchronize them with other Aura Sync hardware for a coordinated visual theme.

ROG Strix H270I Gaming and ROG Strix B250I Gaming feature the SupremeFX S1220A codec with Sonic Studio III software that delivers immersive gaming audio with headsets or speaker setups. Sonic Studio software provides offers several options that include routing applications to individual audio devices, emulating surround sound via stereo headsets and microphone noise reduction to ensure crystal-clear communications with teammates. Fan Expert 4 Core is included and offers advanced fan and water pump control options in both firmware and software to ensure quiet and efficiently cooled builds when gaming, number crunching or viewing your favorite digital content. All onboard headers offer hardware level auto-detecting if a fan is DC (3-pin) or PWM (4-pin) with auto-tuning option that saves users time in getting their systems setup and running.

ROG Strix H270I Gaming and ROG Strix B250I Gaming feature the latest Intel Gigabit Ethernet LAN port that reduces CPU overhead and delivers exceptionally-high TCP and UDP throughput, ensuring smooth gameplay. Additionally, the ROG Strix H270I Gaming features a dual-gigabit-LAN design that adds a Realtek® Gigabit Ethernet port. Both boards also feature integrated 802.11ac 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi for reliable, wide-reach wireless connectivity for gamers without access to wired connections. Dual PCIe® 3.0 x4 M.2 slots let users enjoy fast data-transfer speeds of up to 32Gbps, and provide maximum flexibility when choosing an SSD for their system. ROG Strix H270I Gaming and ROG Strix B250I Gaming have a suite of protective features called Gamer’s Guardian, which includes SafeSlot, Q-LEDs, Digi+ voltage-regulator modules (VRMs), DRAM Overcurrent Protection and other Smart DIY features. SafeSlot is the PCIe® slot reinvented by ASUS and engineered to provide superior retention and shearing resistance. Q-LEDs provide quick and easy problem diagnosis by indicating where on the motherboard a problem is occurring. Digi+ VRMs improve power delivery to the CPU, and DRAM Overcurrent Protection helps extend motherboard life.
