Back in 2014 HyperX released their original Cloud Headset. It was a headset that offered incredible performance at a great price, at the time it was the undisputed best gaming headset under $100. Then in 2015 the HyperX Cloud II came out, again we were blown away. I have been using that headset as my main headset since reviewing it. So when HyperX told us they have a successor to the Cloud II I knew it had big shoes to fill. On top of great sound performance the Cloud headsets were some of the most comfortable out there. So today we are checking out the new Cloud Alpha, which has a similar design to the Cloud II, but brings with it a new dual chamber driver design.
