"All indications so far point to Bulldozer being at the very
least a competitive design. I believe that Intel will have an
advantage in instructions per clock when handling single threaded and
lightly threaded workloads. But AMD certainly looks to counter that
by providing processors which will clock higher than the Intel
counterparts, yet still remain in the same thermal envelope as the
competition."
