Every once in a while I get questions on what kind of power
supplies to use for media center pcs. The answer is pretty much the same for
most cases. Use enough power to run a simple pc. Let's face it, you are not
going to be doing some heavy computing with a media PC so why throw your
money a way on that expensive power supply which in the long run will result
in to a higher electric bill.
A quick patch update to Windows can extend the useful life of a PC. To take the fear out of Upgrading Windows 98 to Windows XP, rely on this guide. - PCSTATS Tips
