"The ASUS P8P67 Deluxe is a feature loaded mainboard supporting the latest Sandy Bridge processors. The ASUS P8P67 Deluxe motherboard uses a 16+2 phase DIGI+ VRM design and fully supports Intel’s VRD12 specifications. There are three PCI Express x16 slots on the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe motherboard as well as a PLX PEX8608 chip onboard adding 8 additional PCI Express lanes so that the bandwidth is not impacted when USB 3.0 and SATA3 6Gbps devices are used while the PCI-E x16 slots are fully populated."
Any major computer upgrade generally requires a full software reinstall too. No so if you heed the advice in the guide to Upgrading a Motherboard without Reinstalling. PCSTATS Tips
