Overclocking your graphics card is a very quick and easy way to get a little extra performance out of your system. The overclock we used when testing our Radeon HD 6790 should be considered as a maximum air-cooled overclock for this particular card. That said, we expect that almost all cards will reach 950MHz, which is still an impressive 110MHz increase or 13% boost in frequency.
