All my hot swap bays in my server only hold 3.5 drives, same with the hot swap bay in my desktop PC. Unless your PC case is fairly recent, it also probably lacks a dedicated SSD installation location. These same struggles also apply to those who want to use a regular 2.5 hard drive in place of a 3.5 drive for less heat and power consumption. The Icy Dock MB982SP-1S is a fully enclosed, military grade 2.5 to 3.5 drive converter."
