"Not many developers are working on any new football titles this year. For the football fan that means that there is currently only one game out there for the 2001 season. Since there is no competition Electronic Arts could have chosen to put a half-assed effort into Madden NFL 2001 and probably would still sell. Thankfully, it offers football fans enough features to keep them pleased."
