In an effort to cash in on the net, Acer is the next in line to introduce a non-traditional PC. Their new I-Station computer is based on Microsoft's Web Companion software that connects to Microsoft's MSN service. That's all it does, Acer's I-Station doesn't include a hard drive or a floppy drive, and won't be able to run any traditional PC applications or games. It does however include a 56K modem, which is expected to be replaced by broad band connectivity in the future.
