Mobile software developer Pervasive Software said today it was releasing a new server, the Tango 2000, that will allow Web developers to distribute Web-based software applications on three versions of the Linux operating system. The Tango 2000, which is compatible with Red Hat Linux, Caldera OpenLinux and SuSE Linux, as well as Windows NT, Sun Solaris, and Mac OS operating systems, is expected to be available for shipment before the end of the year, Pervasive said in a statement
