Motorola has recently unveiled a color graphic display for cell phones. "The new Organic EL(TM) color display, developed in partnership with Pioneer Corp., of Japan, is one of the first demonstrations of this technology in a portable product. It is based on light emitting structures that can be patterned with the same resolution as conventional LCD displays. The result is a bright graphic display that can be easily read in any lighting condition. This display utilizes an energy-efficient architecture with very economical power consumption -- resulting in negligible impact on standby or talk time."
Kinna neat, no?Expect to see this tech popping up in better phones Q1-Q2 Y2K
