"The Thrustmaster comes in two major components the wheel itself and the floor piece with accelerator pedal and brake pedal. The assembly of the parts is pretty straightforward and should pose no problem. The wheel is of very sturdy construction and comes with two clamps. The clamps are big and will easily slide over any size desk. This is a plus, as my desk is rather large and is 4 inches thick. The only complaint is the floor piece. My floors are hardwood and the base tends to slide, a real pain for those close encounters! The solution was to place a square piece of anti-slip matting under the floor piece (available at carpet stores). The Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Digital 2 is a USB device, so hooking it up was no problem. The pedal base plugs into the wheel and the wheel goes to the USB port. To summarize, the physical installation was a breeze."
