"In the age of making more and more complex devices it's nice to see that Microsoft isn't forgetting the crowd that just needs a cheap, easy to install gamepad. For these people they have released the Plug & Play USB gamepad.
As the name suggests this is a no frills gamepad for the USB port. There's no need for any installation CD or software and the only thing you need to do is plug it in and play. And it really works.
The actual pad is a normal 4 button, 2 triggers, D-pad joypad. It lies well in the hand, just as any other MS gamepad, In fact, it does look much like the SideWinder Gamepad Pro, although a bit smaller. The Pro though is much heavier and lies better in the hand. MS has jumped onto the I-Mac bandwagon and made the gamepad transparent. Luckily, they showed some taste and didn't make it blue."
