It's always great to see manufacturers supporting the school system, which is often woefully under funded by the government in terms of equipment. This time, Crucial donate a whole heap of memory to Canadian Schools in Alberta, eh!
Crucial Donates Memory Upgrades to Alberta Schools
Crucial Technology, a division of Micron and one of the world's largest computer memory upgrade providers, today announced it
will donate approximately 200 memory modules--valued at over CDN$6,300
(US$4,000)--to upgrade computers for public schools and libraries throughout
Alberta, Canada. The donation, coordinated through the non-profit
organization Alberta Computers for Schools, is part of the Education is
Crucial program. It mirrors a similar gift in Idaho, USA, home of Crucial's
corporate headquarters and Alberta's regional
partner.
