GlobalWin CAK38/68 Review - GlobalWin CAK38/68 Review
Sat, November 24 2001 | 11:12AM | PermaLink Feedback?
Steve at Legion Hardware takes a look at the GlobalWin CAK38/68. Good hsf's but personally I can't stand the noise a delta makes anymore. Just way too loud! Anyway take a look here.

GlobalWIN first unleashed their copper line of CPU coolers early this year with the introduction of the CAK38. Copper coolers were just coming into fashion when GlobalWIN introduced the CAK38. The CAK38 was one of the few copper coolers to be constructed from 100% copper. Most copper coolers at this stage were glued together, meaning that the copper fins are glued to the base. The problem with this method is that the contact between the fins and the base may not be perfect, and could even cause more thermal resistance limiting the performance of the cooler. This is the very reason why GlobalWIN took the single copper cooler method
