16x burners have been out for a quite awhile now and the prices on them are so low right now they are just about the best value upgrade you can buy for your computer. I will be taking a look at 4 different models, the Samsung SW-216, the NEC NR-7800A, the TEAC W516E, and the LG GCE-816OB. These drives are all 16x10x40x drivers except for the Samsung SW-216, which is the 16x10x32x, but it is the write performance and features that I am focusing on in this review anyways. These drives all come with buffer under run protection of some type, and a 2MB buffer.
