Seagate Backup Plus Slim External USB 3.0 2TB Hard Drive Review
HermanMiller Red orbiter - HermanMiller Red orbiter
Wed, February 20 2002 | 12:25PM | PermaLink Feedback?
“The desk surfaces also are one of the unique pieces to the Red Orbiter desk system that make life at a desk much more comfortable. The “Deep Purple” sections that are on both the main desk surface and the shelf surface are a rubbery type of material. These areas make the marriage of wood, Formica, and rubber come together in a well executed concert of function. The main surface being Formica makes for a very sturdy, easily cleaned, stable work area. Once you engage with the rubbery surface you find that the rounded edges and sloped areas create a very relaxed area to work on. Leaving arms, elbows, even legs on these surfaces for extended periods of time, give quite a lack of painful “desk edgies”. Everyone that has ever worked at any normal desk will understand what “desk edgies” are. The lines on your elbows, arms, and forearms that you walk away with from an extended work session that hurt when you touch them, cut off circulation and otherwise upset you, yes, those are “desk edgies”.”
