The base of the heatsink is very massive and smooth, making it almost perfect for small contact area CPUs such as TBirds. Another very well designed part is the attaching mechanism, two self tightening clips that catch all three hooks on the socket. This mechanism is only on CORE version 2, the version 1 CORE had some stupid clips that you had to tighten yourself using screws. A very original design for the heatsink and the clip proved to be very easy to handle and very effective.
