The design of the stand is where things are similar: Both models tilt backwards roughly 30 degrees and forward about 5 degrees. When shipped, there’s a little pin in the stand which looks a lot like the pull-pin on a hand grenade—when you pull this one out, however, you gain the ability to raise the stand up and down a few inches, for better monitor height. Both monitors also pivot through 90 degrees, between landscape and portrait mode, and come with software which allows you to switch between the two modes. A hole in the middle of the stand allows you to thread the cables through, for a tidier desktop. A nice feature about both is that neither requires a power brick, as the transformer is located inside the bezel, meaning that you can plug the monitor directly into the wall.
