Well the Asus low cost spin off subsidiary Hua Ching will begin mass
producing in October as well...
According to sources, Asustek Computer’s Hua Ching subsidiary is now
entering the mass production stage, with motherboard products expected to hit
the market in early October.
Targeting the low-price sector, Hua Ching’s first batch of products
will be Pentium 4 boards based on the SiS645, 645DX, 650 and 651 chipsets from
Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS), sources said. The higher popularity of P4
products recently is believed to be why Hua Ching decided to focus on the line
first.
