On September 1, Taiwan-based China Airlines announced a 15% increase in its airfreight fees to Europe and noted that fees could rise further if demand keeps growing. Taiwan’s second-largest airline, EVA Airways, said that it would raise airfreight fees to Europe by 7-8% in October.
