"Just like it's younger brother, this 40X12X40 CD-RW incorporates
similar technology. To prevent buffer underuns a hefty 8MB buffer
is used by the drive. If that was not enough, also include is the
Super Link technology. When Super Link is used, it monitors the
buffers and slows/stops burning when incoming data buffer is empty.
It then resumes when the data catches up later on. This helps in
preventing burning 'coasters'. The drive also incorporates DVA(Dynamic
Vibration Absorber) which helps dampen the noise level of the drive
during operation."
