Tue, September 10 2002 | 10:45AM | PermaLink Feedback?
The DDR Zone shows everyone how to Slipstream SP1 into WinXP... It's a good read, take a look at what they say here.

The task of deploying windows to a network of PC's is a time consuming process whether you're dealing with 5 or 500 PC's. Add into the mixture the need to ensure all the latest patches from the Microsoft are installed on the machines and the task will take even longer.

One small time saving method is to slipstream the latest service packs for Windows into the install image used to setup the pc's initially.

This guide will run you through the relatively simple procedure of slipstreaming the new Windows XP Service Pack 1 onto a Windows XP install image, including putting this image back onto a CD and making it bootable.
