X-bit labs (http://www.xbitlabs.com) has posted an article called "USB 2.0 against FireWire".
We decided to figure out which interface of all available today is the most efficient for disk subsystems: the praised USB 2.0, the FireWire or the old buddy ATA/100. The experiments were carried out with Western Digital WD1200BB hard disk drive, and the results appeared really unexpected!
