In recent months, we’ve reviewed quite a number of LCD Displays, but not once did we look at one of these displays and evaluate it from a “gamer’s perspective”. Traditionally, TFT-LCD Displays are targeted at the corporate market due to both their cost and trendy appearance. They look great in a multimedia design studio and they carry a hefty price tag that few consumers can afford at home.
However, over the past few years, demand from these displays has dramatically increased, thanks in part to OEM system bundles and the manufacture of lower-cost analog TFT displays. In an age where we want to differentiate ourselves from the rest, be energy consumption cognisant, and have the best image possible, the digital TFT-LCD display has started to take center stage in the gaming and ‘power-user’ consumer market.
