Earlier, manufacturers had attempted to reduce the SDRAM on hand by requiring customers to buy SDRAM with every DDR purchase, but results appear slim. Now, manufacturers are wooing OEMs with reminders of the low SDRAM prices, and OEM customers have indeed begun to go back to purchasing SDRAM for use in low-end computers, distributors indicated.
