Well, I managed to finally fight my way through the downloading frenzy of Red Hat Linux 8.0 and snag myself a copy. Red Hat Linux 8.0 was released Monday, 30th September 2002, and since then, every Red Hat mirror has been bombarded with people try to get themselves a copy. The Red Hat mirror, hosted by kernel.org (mirrors.kernel.org) has temporarily shut down their Red Hat mirror, because their site was so heavily affected.
