Oh man... This is not good news for everyone's favorite
underdog!
Processor maker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) on October 2 announced a revision
in its third-quarter sales estimate. Instead of seeing growth from its second-quarter
revenues of US$600 million, AMD estimated that its third-quarter sales would
reach only US$500 million.
