Right now, the SW240 is selling for $65-$70 USD on price watch. This is slightly more expensive compared to other drive in the $50 range. However, if you look at feature wise, the SW-240 has a better price/value ratio. Also remember the 8MB buffer and buffer-underun protection when considering the price factor. There really isn't any cons to this drive. It is fast, reliable, well priced and comes with a good set of features out of the box and support every type of CD that there is out there.
