Not sure if this is old news or not, but one of our forum Admins has submitted an interesting little How-To guide. It's similar to bios-flash upgrades we've seen before - in this case, an LG-brand 32x10x40 CDRW can be coaxed to become a 40x12x40. The usual disclaimers apply, but it's not a bad little upgrade for free..
