"The HPNA product line has been developed to utilize existing phone lines to network you're computers. This removes the need to run CAT5 (this is the network cable used to connect each computer) which can run to about $150 per drop depending on length and complexity of the cable run (i.e. through conduit and floors etc). With the phone lines already run to almost every room, it's a snap to network your computers. "
