Monkey Review looks at the Hercules Muse 5.1 DVD... It's a value soundcard
here's their thought on the card.
The Muse 5.1 is built around the same CMI-8738-6ch-LX chip that powers the
Muse LX this in turn offers consumers a 6 Channel Audio Card. The card has a
wide amount of abilities and supported standards, the most influential being
Microsoft Direct Sound, DirectSound 3d, EAX 1.0, EAX 2.0 as well as Dolby Surround,
Dolby DIGITAL and Sensaura 3d-Audio.
