"MP3 is now the defacto standard in Audio compression, so it seems only right that major audio player manufacturers start producing MP3 CD players. MP3 CD players are actually nothing new, Diamond's Rio Volt has been around for a while, and is now well priced at about £120. But it's no where near as desirable as their popular Rio series of MP3 players, which rely on integral flash memory to store music in.
This season marks Sony's first attempts at an MP3 playing Discman. They actually have two, this being the more expensive one. The cheaper model doesn't look as good, and isn't supplied with an inline remote control."
