At first sight, the NEC MultiSync 1550V might seem a little small but the rounded edges on the top and bottom gives the unit a very sleek appearance especially in the very popular black finish which I was told, sold 5 to 1 in comparison with the white model. The monitor weighs only 3.8kg and was much lighter in comparison with my DMC Pureview 15" LCD monitor which must have weighed at least 6 - 7 kg in comparison. Don't be fooled by the thin frame design though, the monitor looks and feels just as sturdy as any other LCD monitor and the build quality was very good, everything felt solid and integrated.
