Bjorn3D talks about nVidia's new CG compiler. It's actually written by a graphics
programmer so he can discuss the pros and cons of the software. Check out what
I'm talking about here.
Cg promises to...help by making it far easier to support all these custom
effects in the game engine. How is that possible? Cg is a powerful high-level
language, which means that it takes less actual code to create a desired effect.
Basically, games can be developed faster and the code will be easier to maintain
for future reuse.
