Mon, June 03 2002 | 2:54PM | PermaLink Feedback?
"Thanks to Nero InfoTool, we see that finally, Lite On supports Mount Rainier out of the box. Buffer size is still a teeny 2mb, but with SMART Link that's all you need anyway. VCD support is great for those that burn their home movies onto disc, and really the only thing not supported are the various DVD formats. Lite On does plan on doing a DVD-R/RW/Whatever drive someday...just as soon as the standards work themselves out. Personally, I hope that's sooner than later, but I ain't holding my breath"
