DeviantPC looks at one of my personal fav games Ghost
Recon.
Ghost Recon is a brave departure from the mould of its high-profile predecessors,
and the introduction makes this manifestly clear. The aura of an American war
movie remains: with heart-stirring soundtrack and mean gun-toting vindicators
in uniform; but the outdoor terrains of South-Eastern Europe are the backdrop,
rather than the claustrophobic Western 747s, museums or villas of the original
duo. The familiar SWAT team uniforms are replaced by full camouflage; flash-bangs
making way for LAWs. This truly testosterone-fuelled political anti-terrorist
combat, replete with post-September 11th patriotism.
