Welcome to the world of business, it is ruthless, unmoral, and as always anything for profit is worth while, sometimes at the sacrifice of its customers, and not themselves. With the recent availability of Cable Internet few have the choice of more than one provider, leaving competition out of the picture. Without competition it is nearly impossible to change a company’s viewpoint, their policy, or even something simple. Since @Home as left us, many cable subscribers, including myself have experienced so called "Growing Pains" and it is out right frustrating! ISPs are now left alone to the number of users to amount of bandwidth, guarantees, well they never did exist however in my opinion they should.
