"At first (and second, and third...) glance, these cans look midrange: no wood, no aluminum, no leather baggie. They certainly ain't shabby either: sturdy plastics, silver-painted driver casing, and silver-painted grill. What the heck is a grill doing on the outside of a set of headphones? Glad you asked. That's the "open-air design" that I mentioned...and I'll get to that next paragraph! :P Anyway, the last of the design features are the adjustable headband and the ear pads. While the stiff-plastic-strip-with-foam-on-bottom headband matches this set's motif, I found it to be a tad uncomfortable after wearing them for more than 20 minutes...I would have preferred a flexible faux-leather strap to conform to my head better. As for the ear pads: padded velvet...'nuff said. As comfortable as leather (although different feeling), without the sweat problem. I approve."
