Delta has always been the fan company most of us in the biz gravitate to when we need the highest airflow. There's generally a compromise in the decibel department (i.e. their fans are often quite loud), but that's a price that often must be paid.
I was in a situation where I had a few interesting cases coming in to review, and one in particular (yeah, the review will be up soon) which had 120mm fan mounting capabilities really caught my eye. Having seen over at one of my favorite sites for cooling hardware, Sidewinder Computer Systems, Delta's new 120mm fan, I knew I had to have a couple of these. Gary Stofer at Sidewinder Computer Systems, was gracious enough to supply us a couple of Delta's new 120mm FFB1212EHE fans, just for this purpose.
I'll continue a bit more on these fans in my forthcoming Chenbro case review, but I felt these fans needed a small writeup all their own. So, let's take a look at these critters, and see just how freakishly extreme they really are!
