EXHardware checks out the new Nanotherm ICE and Blue thermal compounds... Does
it really make that much of a difference? I Don't know, check it out for yourself!
Now that we've covered what the Nanotherm thermal compounds are made out
of, let's take a closer look at the product itself. The Nanotherm thermal compounds
go for about $4.95 per tube each tube containing approximately 1.5 cc (ml) of
the thermal compound. While many thermal compound manufacturers measure their
products in terms of weight, the Nanotherm compounds are measured in volume
instead which is pretty much the right way to go! Silver compounds might weigh
more and you get less in terms of volume. Since the Nanotherm compounds do not
contain silver, they are ligher and therefore a direct weight to weight comparison
will not give you an accurate idea of the amount you're getting.
