Tired of tons of wires dangling from your computer? Do you want to sit back in your chair and move around with the freedom that only a wireless keyboard and mouse can give you? Sure you do! The question is should you choose the Memorex RF5700 as your solution. That's what we'd like to find out.
I first came across this keyboard/mouse combination at CompUSA. It was advertised as akeyboard an optical mouse, but later they corrected their advertisement. I don't know why, but this seems to happen very often at CompUSA. In any event, please note that this is a standard mouse which uses a ball and a Internet keyboard.
My plan was to crack open the box, install everything and I should be set to go. I wish would have been that easy.
First, Memorex doesn't include a paper manual. Talk about cheap. Also note that I didn't have my CD-rom plugged into my computer, so I tried installing the necessary programs using the software I downloaded from the Memorex support site. That didn't work too!
