Jim at our fav hangout Overclockers Cafe just finished reviewing the Zalman
6000 ALCU CPU hsf. It's nice, but I'm not a "quiet" PC person myself.
Take a look and see what you think.
Zalman has a reputation of producing some of the finest finished products
in the industry, this Aluminum and Copper design was no exception, in fact given
that the base is partially formed by the fins compressed between two blocks
of aluminum, the machining of the base almost looks to be a solid piece. Very
smooth and impressive.
