LANAddict has an editorial up on the paper launch GeForceFX... They do have
a few good points, it's a good read.
The kicker is that you should NOT expect to see a GeForce FX-based card
on the shelves of your favorite computer hardware store until February! That's
right, in THREE MONTHS you should be able to lay down your small fortune and
get one of these cards for your very own. What bothers me is that it seems to
be perfectly OK with the press and with most of the people at the many hardware
review sites! AMD got bashed up one side and down the other for 'launching'
the 2800+ in July, which you can now buy in a few places months later.
Heh, AMD launched the XP 2800+ in October and you can find them for sale now...
