I must admit that the thought of a wireless network was appealing. To be able to connect to the Internet without being restricted by a cable sounded like a geek utopia. Imagine cruising your favorite tech sites from the comfort of your recliner or the deck in the backyard... those were the visions that kept my attention focused on the wireless market. I knew exactly what I wanted, a wireless router with additional ports for the wired computers on my small home network: this setup would allow me to keep my network running while allowing a wireless connection for my laptop.
